Everyone who works for our organisation or with us has an important part to play in making Fremantle Ports a safe place to work. Our Safety for Life program commits management and staff to integrate safety across all operations and to provide a safe and healthy environment for employees, contractors and visitors.

Fremantle Ports maintains a strategic approach towards maintaining the health and safety of our employees and contractors, recognising that an organisation requires good systems and a positive safety culture to achieve optimum safety results. In a workplace which, by its nature, contains numerous hazards, our organisation has clear safety targets. Our practice of regularly reviewing our safety systems and submitting them to external audit has set high performance levels that continue to demonstrate a robust safety system which meets industry expectations.

The Board and Executive Management Team maintain a close watch on safety performance and together with management take a strong leadership role towards achieving and maintaining a safe workplace.
