Fremantle Ports uses Oracle Cloud services (including Oracle Recruitment) and EFTsure in order to operate its online Human Capital Management and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (together, the “Systems”). Oracle and EFTsure both use Cookies as part of the services they will be providing Fremantle Ports via the Career and Supplier Sites. By visiting Fremantle Ports’ Career or Supplier Sites, you will subsequently encounter Cookies.

Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that Fremantle Ports store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from Cookies. Fremantle Ports does not store sensitive personal information, such as mailing addresses, account passwords, etc. in the Cookies we use.

Interpretation and definitions

The words of which the initial letter is capitalised have meanings defined under the following conditions.  The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Cookies Policy:

●        “Fremantle Ports” is Fremantle Ports Authority being the strategic manager of the Port of Fremantle, a Western Australian Government trading enterprise under the Port Authorities Act 1999 (WA) and Port Authorities Regulations 2001.

 

●        “Cookies” means small files that are placed on your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing details of your browsing history on that website.

 

●        “EFTsure” refers to EFTsure Pty Ltd (ABN 21 168 403 736), whose registered address is located at Level 6/122 Walker Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.

 

●        “Oracle” refers to Oracle Corporation, whose registered address is located at 500 Oracle Parkway, M/S 5op7, Redwood Shores, CA 94065.

 

●        “Oracle Cloud” refers to the cloud computing service offered by Oracle.

 

●        “Oracle Recruitment” refers to Oracle Recruitment Cloud, part of Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud.

 

●        “You” or “you” means the individual accessing or using the Career Site, or a company, or any legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Career Site, as applicable.

 

The use of the Cookies

Type of Cookies we use

Cookies can be "persistent" or "session" Cookies. Persistent Cookies remain on your personal computer or mobile device when you go offline, while session Cookies are deleted as soon as you close your web browser. Fremantle Ports uses the following types of both session and persistent Cookies for the purposes set out below:

Purpose: These Cookies are essential to provide you with services available through the Systems and to enable you to use some of their features.  They help to authenticate users and prevent fraudulent use of user accounts.  Without these Cookies, the services that you have asked for cannot be provided, and Fremantle Ports only uses these Cookies to provide you with those services.

 

●        Notice Acceptance Cookies

Type: Persistent Cookies

Administered by: Oracle and EFTsure.

Purpose: These Cookies identify if users have accepted the use of Cookies on the Systems.

 

●        Functionality Cookies

Type: Persistent Cookies

Administered by: Oracle and EFTsure.

Purpose: These Cookies allow Fremantle Ports to remember choices you make when you use the Systems, such as remembering your login details or language preference.  The purpose of these Cookies is to provide you with a more personal experience and to avoid you having to re-enter your preferences every time you use the Systems.

 

●        Tracking and Performance Cookies

Type: Persistent Cookies

Purpose: These Cookies are used to track information about traffic to the Systems and how users use the Systems. The information gathered via these Cookies may directly or indirectly identify you as an individual visitor. This is because the information collected is typically linked to a pseudonymous identifier associated with the device you use to access the Career and Supplier Sites. Fremantle Ports may also use these Cookies to test new advertisements, pages, features or new functionality of the Career and Supplier Sites to see how Fremantle Ports’ users react to them.
